The Reason
A simple round dress watch but recognisable by its DNA, differentiating itself from other watch designs. Carrying its own micro-rotor calibre manufactured by its own producer Vaucher which can be viewed under making and Vaucher 5401. This particular version predates the calibre which is deconstructed under Vaucher. The 1950 associates to the birth year of the founder Michel Parmigiani.
Parmigiani Fleurier was started in 1996 in Val-de-Travers. Founder Michel Parmigiani had conceived the brand as far back as 1976 through his work restoring watchmaking artefacts. (Wikipedia)
